The Vancouver Olympics are coming to a close, but don’t worry winter sports fans, the 2014 Games in Sochi, Russia are less than half a decade away! We get a taste of the site of the next Winter Olympics, and look back at the unforgettable fashions of Vancouver.

Team USA has yet to win a medal in biathlon, but its athletes are working hard to get the United States on the podium. Here are some photos from this week’s event in Vancouver.

More than 3 billion people around the globe will tune in to watch the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia. Over the next 17 days, thousands will visit Canada’s third largest city to watch the Games in person. Only A Game’s Sadie Babits is there, and she brought along her camera.

281 cyclists participated in last weekend’s Harpoon Indoor Time Trial, a stationary bike race that simulates an eight-mile course. Only A Game’s Doug Tribou visited the Harpoon Brewery in South Boston to take in the event. Listen to Doug’s report and check out the photos he took during the races.

The Weston Ski Center is home to the Eastern Mass Youth Cross-Country Ski Team, one of many in the Bill Koch Ski League. Only A Game’s Bill Littlefield visited this cross-country community and took some pictures along the way.

In an effort to increase attendance, Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut has given 100 season tickets to some of the most energetic fans around. They call themselves “Squad 6,” and get loud for all 48 minutes of every home game. Wisconsin Public Radio’s Kirk Carapezza took pictures at a recent game.

Epsom, NH resident Dave Cummings is shooting 1,000,000 free throws in an effort to raise money for US military veterans and their families. Only A Game’s Doug Tribou was on hand for some of Dave’s shooting sessions. Listen to his report and see photos of Cummings on the “charity stripe.”
